Happy New Year!

Hi everyone- I just want to wish you all a happy new year, and to quickly introduce myself. My name's Aaron, and it looks like I'm the only one from the midwest. I Just got back from Peace Corps Moldova as a volunteer in the agribusiness program, and I'm waiting around anxiously until we get going. Here's a picture from when we picked grapes to make housewine, which turned out more like vinegar, but in the spirit of what we might be doing. I think we have a really diverse and fun group; we're gonna have a great time this spring. Look forward to meeting all of you, ciao Aaron

Hope this works...

Okay I don't know what I'm doing here, but I hope these post in the right spot...

Postable

Ciao tutti,
I just posted in the comment section below but I thought I'd put a post here to show we can post on the main page if we wish, but feel free to post wherever you want.

For those of you inquiring about tickets, I purchased mine at www.economytravel.com and a good place to look for deals is here:
http://airfare.travelzoo.com/european-airfare/
Another slightly more involved option i've heard people doing is to secure a cheap flight to London (at least from New York it's easy to find good deals) and then from there, book a connecting flight on one of Europes absurdly affordable 'local' airlines- namely www.ryanair.com and www.easyjet.com (no they're not kidding when the flights are listed as 'free' - you just pay the tax). Anyway good luck with that. My ticket is a one-way to Rome from JFK and it cost about $350- I think that's expensive but i had to fly during the holidays because I have a wedding to attend.

Also posting on the main page allows you to put up photos if you wish:

Hope everyone has wonderful Holidays
